Today's story begins with a woman named Ana who was in a forest that looked very quiet and deserted. Where everything seemed calm and also without the sound of disturbing vehicles. Ana has lived in the forest for quite a long time. During her time in the forest, she had a car that was still functioning which could help her move and escape at any time if needed.
Well, some time ago, a deadly virus began to spread throughout the world. The virus wiped out more than half the population and made the infected people turn into bloodthirsty creatures. At that time, Ana chose to escape into the forest with her husband named Jason and also their little daughter. This forest is actually located not far from their house. That's why Jason knows this area very well. Because he used to often camp and learn how to survive in the wild which thanks to his skills they also finally managed to survive. During his time here Jason taught Ana various things starting from how to hunt animals, choose which fruits are safe to eat and also how to use weapons to protect themselves if in danger. Jason deliberately taught everything to Ana because he was afraid that something would happen to her. At least Ana knew how to survive and take care of their daughter. Well, one day what Jason feared really happened, which was when their daughter suddenly fell ill. Jason then decided to look for medicine in the homes of local residents. Meanwhile, the children would stay behind while continuing to care for their daughter. But after a day had passed, Jason apparently had not returned. Ana, who was worried, then decided to look for him. From there, Ana then began to look for her husband's whereabouts. But after walking for some time, Ana found Jason's lifeless body with his hands still holding the medicine and food he had found for their daughter. Knowing this, Ana was devastated when she saw how her husband struggled. Who was willing to risk his life for his family. Now the story returns to the present where we see Ana who continues to struggle to survive. Every day she walks through the forest collecting animal droppings and her own urine that she can use to disguise her scent. She also digs around the trees to look for various insects as snacks. Actually, there is not much she can do. But thanks to her notebook, at least Ana has information about almost everything in this forest. Sometimes, in order to survive, Ana often felt tired. In fact, the suffering she experienced often made her feel very frustrated. Day after day continued as usual. To relieve boredom, Ana often listened to the radio or songs through her music player. The next morning, Ana tried to check the trap she had prepared and found that it was still empty. With her failure to catch the game, it automatically reduced her food supply. Because when she checked the trunk, she found that her food supply would only last for 2 days. So, in order to survive, Ana decided to look for food in people's homes. Before leaving, Ana prepared something first. She cut herself to get some blood. Ana then disguised her scent by using animal dung. From there, Ana then set off carrying a gun that only had four bullets left. Once arriving at a house, Ana hung up her playing musical instrument and covered it with blood to attract the zombies. After successfully entering the house, Ana took as much food as she could. Her plan was quite successful. But unfortunately, when she was about to leave, Ana accidentally kicked a trash can. In a panic, Ana ran as fast as she could. Unfortunately, when she passed the fence, her stomach got stuck, causing a fairly deep wound. Realizing that the blood would definitely be smelled, Ana quickly bandaged her wound, ran, and then doused herself with a bucket of urine that she had prepared. After being saved, Ana immediately washed her body in the river and then attempted to stitch up the wound herself without anesthetic and without alcohol. The next day, the child who intended to check her bag discovered that most of the food she had taken the day before had fallen during her escape. Without wasting any time, she then decided to go back and pick up all the fallen food. Well, when she was about to go back, Ana accidentally saw an injured man lying in the middle of the road along with a young girl beside him. The girl was named Olivia, while the man was named Chris who had a head wound. Initially, Ana suspected Kris had been infected. But after being examined, she found no signs of infection. Out of pity, Anak then helped the two by taking them to the camp. After getting help, Olivia then explained that Kris was her stepfather who before the pandemic Kris actually intended to marry her mother. But after the outbreak hit, everything changed to what it is now. The next morning, Ana who had woken up was now seen chatting more with Olivia. At this moment, Olivia even helped Ana to prepare traps, look for animal droppings, and watched everything Ana did. Later that night, Kris finally woke up from his fainting. In the midst of the warm atmosphere, Kris explained that they planned to go to the northern region where they both believed there was still life that had not been affected by the virus. Here Kris who saw the camp built by Ana then tried to ask if the car could run. Hearing that question, Ana apparently chose to lie and answered that her car had run out of gas. Ana seemed to start to feel anxious. She doubted whether helping them was a mistake. Because Kris and Olivia could have taken everything she had. But her anxiety temporarily subsided after Kris thanked them for wanting to help them. Which was not necessarily something that other people could do. Thank you for both of us. That morning in the pouring rain, Ana, who found that the tent outside had collapsed, invited Kris and Olivia to get into the car. After a while inside, Kris then told her that his wife had also been infected with the plague. He was forced to tie her up because she had tried to attack Olivia. Kris said that While tied up, he could hear his wife's screams from afar. Where he ultimately had to kill his own wife to end her suffering. A few days later, Anna slowly began to accept the presence of Kris and Olivia in her life. However, she was not completely lulled. In fact, she tended to be confused when she saw Chris and Olivia looking so happy in the midst of a world filled with suffering and death. Ana felt that there seemed to be something strange about them where the way they acted did not seem like a father and daughter. Well, one time when they were fishing by the lake, Ana suddenly told Kris to be quiet and more serious about fishing when previously Kris had been chattering away. Which apparently made Kris dislike the tone of her daughter's voice. Because of that, that night Kris then tried to ask why the woman told him to be quiet while they were fishing. Hearing this, Ana then replied that she just didn't understand why Kris seemed to forget things out there, namely about so many lives that were now in danger, including the loss of his loved ones. Kris who heard Ana's words could only remain silent. But before returning to the tent, Kris said that he never forgot all his suffering. Because for him Kris just chose not to remember and he also chose when to remember everything. The next morning while relaxing, Olivia asked Kris about when they would leave and leave here. Kris who heard it then said that they could not just leave without telling Anak, especially with all the good that Anak had done. Knowing this immediately made Olivia upset because their trip was hindered by Ana. Where here it seems that Olivia has jealousy towards Ana. In the afternoon when Kris was storing some cans of food that had been given to them then Ana came to ask if Kris was going to leave. Kris replied that they would leave soon and thanked him for all the food that had been given to him. Here Kris also tried to invite Ana to join their trip north. For a few seconds, Ana considered it, but then she stood her ground, that is, she still chose to be here. For her, this place is not only a refuge, but this place has held many memories of her husband and daughter. Well, as time goes by, Ana becomes very close to Chris and Olivia. For several days, they shared food, stories, and happy memories together. But this closeness apparently began to bother Olivia. She didn't like how Kris treated Anak. And vice versa. One day Olivia tried to ask Kris about his feelings for Ana. Hearing the question, Kris answered quite rationally. He said that Ana had lived alone for a long time and had suffered a lot. Since they were rescued, both of them had been well cared for until now. Therefore, to repay the kindness, Kris thought it would be better if they could be together and take care of each other. So, after chatting with her stepfather, Olivia then spent time together with Ana. This time Ana also begins to share stories about her past where she remembers her daughter again. So when leaving her daughter locked in the car, Ana who went looking for food found and entered a house where she unexpectedly found a zombie inside. Without thinking, Ana panicked immediately shot him and got splashed with blood. From there Ana then immediately returned. But here she made one mistake. She forgot to clean herself when she heard her daughter crying. which made the zombie blood on her clothes infect her little baby. The story then returns to the present where at night Olivia wants to express her feelings to Kris. She changes her clothes, fixes her hair, and puts on perfume on her body. But unfortunately when Kris returns, he sees Kris and Ana alone in the car. Meanwhile in the car, Kris tries once again to persuade Ana to come with him. Their conversation then turns emotional where the two end up hugging and spending time all night. Knowing this immediately makes Olivia disappointed. Without thinking twice, she secretly steals all the food supplies and leaves the camp alone. The next morning when Ana and Kris woke up, Kris asked Ana again whether she would go with him to the north. Which question made Ana a little annoyed and decided to get out of the car. When she was outside, Ana was shocked to find her car trunk had been opened with all the food supplies missing, including Olivia. Not long after, they heard screams from a distance which made the two of them quickly rush to look for her. Chris managed to arrive first and found Olivia being attacked by a zombie. In the fight, Ana who intended to shoot suddenly couldn't do it because she forgot to bring bullets so she was forced to help Kris in the fight. Ah. Sh then moved to the past where Ana just realized that her little daughter was starting to show signs of infection. Knowing that, Ana became devastated and helpless. She blamed herself for everything that had happened. Ana actually tried to find a way to save her daughter. But unfortunately she didn't find it. Well, with a heavy heart Ana finally decided that she didn't want to see her daughter suffer. She then crushed some aspirin pills, mixed them with milk and gave them to her daughter. The story then returned where Kris was now ready to go with Olivia. Once again, Kris asked Ana if she wanted to come along. Initially, Ana refused. However, after Kris said that there was no one left here, including her family, in the end, those words were able to change Ana's mind, where she then decided to go along with them. Before leaving, they planned to gather food supplies. From there, the three of them then went to a house. The plan was, Kris would distract the zombies. Meanwhile, Ana and Olivia would enter through the back door. Initially, everything went according to plan. However, once in the kitchen, Olivia suddenly attacked Ana from behind and knocked her unconscious. Well, after taking all the food, Olivia started screaming to attract the attention of zombies to the house. Hoping that they would find Ana. But here Olivia also made a fatal mistake. She forgot to douse her body with urine to disguise her human scent. Because as soon as she returned and lied by saying that Ana was dead, the zombies immediately smelled her scent and came and chased her. Meanwhile, inside the house, Ana slowly began to regain consciousness. Seeing the zombies that had begun to approach, she quickly grabbed anything and doused her body. Ana finally managed to hide where after that she immediately left and returned to the camp. But when she arrived, Ana found that the zombies had apparently attacked Chris and Olivia. With her gun, she began shooting the zombies one by one. However, the situation suddenly turned into a difficult choice when she realized that she only had one bullet left. Which meant Ana could only save one of them. It turned out that Ana decided to save Olivia. The two who managed to escape then immediately left using a vehicle. Olivia who had been saved realized how guilty she was towards Anak which had caused Kris to be killed just because of her stupid actions. On the other hand, Ana continues to drown in her sadness. With everything that has happened, Ana looks like someone who has lost her soul. Everything that has come was suddenly taken back in an instant. which makes Anak then unable to hold back from screaming in the middle of the journey. That was the storyline of the film Alone which was produced in 2016. Yes, even though the ending is a bit strange, but hopefully in our story this time it can entertain you.
